How lucky can this couple get?
A couple from Massachusetts is now raking in millions after winning $1 million each in separate lotteries.
Lottery officials say Robert Goodwin won the money Monday after buying a $5 instant ticket at a convenience store for $1,000,000 Platinum Payout game. The store is set to receive a $10,000 bonus on the sale.
According to WPTV, Robert chose the lump sum payout and is taking home $650,000.
This after his wife, Jane, won a million from the Publishers Clearing House in August.
“Just got lucky, just got very lucky,” said Jane Goodwin. “We made some gifts, and we paid off all our bills.”
The Goodwins said they will use their winnings to buy a home in a community where they won’t have to shovel snow.
